Job ID REQ-2024-3441 Omaha, NebraskaBoys Town Home Campus Program (Boys Town Education Center) offers teachers the opportunity to have it all:
Small class sizes (10-12 students)
Student ages 10-18
Home and school collaborative use of the Boys Town Behavior model, and wrap around services for students
Full parental support through our Family Teaching program
Brand new state of the art Education Center, with upgraded teaching technology
Student 1:1 laptops
Small group and 1:1 paraprofessional support. Team teaching model where appropriate
Individualized teacher development opportunities offered by Instructional Coaching, Instructional Technology Coaching and Boys Town Behavior Model Coaching
Wrap-around service from the Family Home Program and Behavioral Health Care
Professional growth and development opportunities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school required.
Current Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Nebraska Substitute Teacher Certificate or a Local Substitute Teacher Certificate required.
PEM and nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained if subbing in the RTC or select settings required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Background and experience to include work with learning disabled and behaviorally impaired learners preferred.
Special Education endorsement preferred.
Current CPR certification preferred.
