In a career as a Staff Psychologist, you will provide families with a heavy dosage of hope. Many families face behavior issues and struggle to find the help they need when it comes to their children who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, academic or substance abuse concerns. Boys Town Behavioral Health Clinics are safe, caring environments where individuals find help, healing and hope. Our mission is to treat problems early, before they develop into more serious behavioral health issues.
Provide psychological therapeutic services to clients each week based on the amount of other administrative duties.
Conduct psycho educational, cognitive, clinical, and risk assessments.
Provide clinical consultation pertaining to children and families referred for services.
Carry a case load of clients.
Assist in establishing and maintaining a referral base from Boys Town or local pediatricians, local schools, other treatment providers, and general community referrals.
Pursue ongoing education related to the fields of clinical psychology, behavioral pediatrics, and parent training.
Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology or related field and advanced training in clinical, school, or counseling psychology, behavioral pediatrics, or parent training
Must have completed an APA approved internship or equivalent.
Must be a licensed (or licensable) psychologist.
Knowledge of the theories, principles and practices of psychology with an emphasis on behavioral or cognitive behavioral theories.
Proficiency in assessing and treating a wide range of clinical concerns and diagnoses such as ADHD, ASDs, oppositional and defiant behavior, sleep disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and fears, motor habits, and academic problems
3 years of experience preferred.

Boys Town Behavioral Health Clinics offer a wide range of outpatient services for children of all ages (2-22) who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, academic, or substance use concerns. Our clinics offer a wide range of specialized services including Parent Training, Family Therapy, Individual Therapy, and Psychological Assessments. The theoretical orientation of our clinics is primarily cognitive-behavioral. We are looking for a psychologist who is interested in providing outpatient services to children, adolescents, young adults and families presenting with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, sleep problems, ADHD, learning problems etc. Individuals with School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling Psychology training backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
