Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Lied Learning and Technology Center

Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday

  • Provides evaluations of auditory, communication, developmental, academic and pre-academic skills for infants, children and adults with hearing loss and communication disorders.
  • Designs and provides intervention services in the areas of speech, language and voice for infants, children, and adults with communication disorders.
  • Consults and conferences with principals, teachers, families and other staff, including: officers from other agencies and medical practitioners.
  • Prepares and maintains reports/records on patients/students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters in science or Masters in art degree in Speech/Language Pathology or Audiology
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the area of evaluation and/or interventions with patients with communication disorders/hearing loss, preferred
  • Knowledge of psycholinguistics, speech, language and auditory development assessment and intervention techniques for persons with communication disorders, family systems, and development along the life span
  • Must have or be eligible for appropriate state licensing and must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within (1) one year of hire.
