Schedule: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, Hours may vary depending on the needs of the department 

Job Summary:

In a career as a Physician Assistant, you join us in providing life-changing care to patients from across the region. In this role, you will provide medical services to patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician who is readily available for consultation.


  • Performs medical services that are delegated by and provided under the supervision of a licensed physician. The services form a component of the supervising physician's scope of practice.
    • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as delegated by the supervising physician.
      • Complies with all Nebraska statutes and regulations related to physician assistants.
        • Assists with research projects, as needed.
        • Assists with training of staff, residents and students, as needed

        Required Qualifications:

        • Bachelor's of Science degree and graduate of an AMA approved Physician's Assistant program
        • A minimum of two years of experience in a pediatric critical care setting preferred
        • Must possess current Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and upon start must hold a current Physician Assistant license in the State of Nebraska
        • Must have current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certification
        • Prior working knowledge of using a personal computer and electronic medical records.
