OVERVIEW OF JOB

Boys Towns Chemical Use Program at the Center for Behavioral Health, is seeking a Chemical Use Program Therapist.  This position involves providing Outpatient Therapeutic services which include individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents and families referred to the Boys Town Chemical Use Program (CUP). Our ideal candidate will have experience in providing empirically-supported treatment for co-occurring disorders, particularly in the area of substance use, to adolescents and knowledge and experience in use of theoretic based practices related to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • M.A. or M.S. in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience working with adolescents and families.
  • This position requires applicant to be a fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP)  or Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in the state of Nebraska. Will consider Provisional (PLMHP) licensure.
  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), or with provisional status of this licensure
  • Preferred would be 3 - 5 years of experience in the field of adolescent substance use
  • Registered as a provider for substance use services in the State of Nebraska
  • Some Evening hours may be required.
