Director Enterprise Asset
Job ID REQ-2024-3873 Omaha, NebraskaMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Manages the IT Asset Coordinator team.
Interacts with clients and vendors, evaluates, and develops procurement strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
Monitors, reviews, and analyzes bids and quotes with suppliers, including the negotiation of service agreements and contracts.
Maintains accurate records of asset location, condition, maintenance history, and depreciation to facilitate informed decision-making.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including finance, facilities, IT, and procurement, to align asset management efforts with organizational objectives.
Manages relationships with our strategic software vendors and service providers.
Manages the of physical assets of an organization throughout each asset's lifecycle.
Updates and improves the IT Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in line with agreed- upon scope of the IT Asset and Configuration Management processes, function, assets, and configuration items to control information to be recorded.
Develops and maintains IT Asset and Configuration Management principles, standards, plans and procedures, and their implementation within the agreed upon scope.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Knowledge of building facilities materials and contracts.
Knowledge of software licensing agreements.
Ability to negotiate purchases and contract agreements.
Ability to categorize and track large volumes of information.
High level of professionalism, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization and with external contacts in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality.
Ability to organize and implement asset introduction or elimination.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum of 10 years of in-depth experience, including demonstrated management level leadership required.
Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms and ensuring the consistent delivery of reliable, and quality out comes required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Master’s degree preferred.
